I heard the Lord say, “Tell My children that I have not passed them by. Many believe they have missed My blessings. They have been praying and waiting for breakthrough but are becoming discouraged. Tell them to remain patient, I have not forgotten about them.”

Dear ones, I know what it feels like to wait on God. At times, we are so weary in our waiting upon God that unbelief attempts to cloud our vision and hijack our faith. I have been one of those Christians who have had God remind me of many blessings coming my way…only to pray, fast and stand strong, but nothing happened. Yes, at times it felt like God had forgotten about me or simply passed me by! Many times I have thought I missed my blessing somehow.

“When it seems as if your blessing is no where to be found or if it seems God has passed you by…hold on!”

There have also been days I have gotten out of bed with high expectations for the day; believing for miracles and breakthroughs only to experience disappointment at the end of that day. Now, I still loved God and I knew He loved me but yet, this lingering disappointment would remain that I could not shake. What do you do when your heart is broken and all hope seems lost?

How do you battle the dark whispers from the enemy who says:

—God doesn’t care about your needs.

—You’re not good enough.

—You’ve messed up and God isn’t going to heal you.

—You don’t measure up.

—You don’t pray enough.

—God has turned His back on you because of your sin.

—You’re a loser.

A thousand fiery darts are hurled toward you and soon you are absolutely convinced that “God has passed me (you) by!”

Satan is a Liar

Not so! God has NOT passed you by and He has NOT forgotten about you! Bottom line is this: who are you choosing to listen to right now? We must choose to listen only to God and ignore the whispers of the enemy. The devil is a liar and he would love for us to turn our backs on God and falsely accuse Him! To believe that God doesn’t care about our needs is one of the ways we come into agreement with the accuser. When we agree with satan’s lies, we give him more power. If you want a life of godly power, then align yourself with God and His Word!

I know firsthand how the enemy loves to shake our faith. Satan will target us with attempts to shake us, derail us, and frustrate us to the point that we lose hope. When the enemy lies to us, what should our response be? What should our reply be?

Hopefully, our confession will be one that agrees with what God says! While waiting for our breakthroughs, we should all be flooding the airways with positive confessions and declaring that God is our healer, provider and deliverer. While waiting on our healing, we should be keeping our minds fixed on the fact that God loves us and desires us healed!

I know that at times it is difficult to rejoice with others when they get a breakthrough and you’re still waiting on yours. Yes, it is discouraging and if not careful you will hear yourself say, “God has passed me by.” But Saint, please hear me. God has NOT passed you by! God is going to reward your faithfulness, so keep standing!

If you will recall, the psalmist spoke about enduring and said, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Ps. 30:5). A night may be one night away or six nights away or maybe several months, but God promises that joy WILL come. Remember Job? Historians write that his hard times lasted a full year, but on the other side he was blessed double for all that trouble.

Let me assure you: God will never ever forget about you. He knows your needs and your concerns. And dear Believer, He has not passed you by. It’s time to rise up and declare what God has spoken to you. Tell the devil to back off! Remind the enemy that he is a liar and that his fiery darts will not have victory in your life. Remind satan that you are a child of the Most High God.

Your heavenly Father cares for you and will never leave you nor forsake you. Make a positive confession and declare that you are walking in power and that you are going to exercise you godly authority over every lie of the enemy.

Your Blessing is Coming!

“Tell My children that I have not passed them by…”

—To fully live in victory we must not waver or allow the lies of the enemy to hijack our faith.

—When it seems as if your blessing is no where to be found or if it seems God has passed you by…hold on! Stand strong!

Think about some of those patriarchs in the Bible who stood strong when adversity surrounded them. One of my favorite Bible characters is Elijah. Scripture tells us that he was a man just like us. This means he was human but also very powerful in God. He was tempted with fears and emotions just as we are today. And yet, he went toe-to-toe with Ahab and Jezebel. He stood strong against witchcraft, idolatry and yes, murder! Yet he boldly tore down the false altars of Baal and rebuilt the altar of God.

Elijah destroyed the false prophets in the land and prayed for rain that ended a long drought. In fact, he was the one who prophesied the drought! And God honored his decree! Wow! When there was no rain cloud in sight Elijah continued to pray and believe for rain. He could have gotten discouraged and believed that “God has passed me by!” But, he didn’t waver! Elijah refused to give up. He kept praying and believing what God had said. The Lord told Elijah it would rain, and guess what? Elijah believed what God said!

—Believer, don’t give up! Keep believing! Believe what God has said about you. Believe that you are blessed.

—Believe this today…because I hear the sound of the abundance of rain headed your way!

—It’s your season for power, demonstration and breakthrough. Don’t let what you see in the natural discourage you…but keep your eyes on Jesus! What God has promised, He will surely do!

Now pray this prayer: Father, I decree that I am blessed. Because You, Lord, say I am blessed I believe that I am blessed. Though I am waiting on You, I know that my strength is renewed. I am patiently waiting for the full manifestation of my many blessings. I ask that You, Lord, clothe me with divine favor. I ask for the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control be manifested in my life. I decree that I shall not be moved and I stand strong in my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
